Toilet repair · Liverpool & Knowsley
A toilet that runs all night, will not flush right or is leaking at the base? Paul sorts the cistern, the flush and the seals properly.
A toilet that constantly runs is not just annoying, it quietly wastes a huge amount of water and pushes your bill up. A weak flush, a wobbly pan or water leaking at the base are all common and all fixable, usually quickly, once you know what is actually wrong inside the cistern.
Paul repairs the lot: fill valves, flush mechanisms, worn seals and leaks, and if a toilet is past saving he can supply and fit a new one properly, sealed and solid so it does not rock.
Toilet trouble
01
Find the actual fault
Running, weak flush, or a leak, each has a different cause inside the cistern or at the seals. Paul checks which it is rather than throwing parts at it.
02
Repaired with the right part
A new fill or flush valve, a fresh seal, or the pan re-fixed and sealed. Common parts are on the van so a lot of toilets are fixed in one visit.
03
Tested and solid
He tests the flush and fill, checks there is no leak at the base, and makes sure the pan is solid and not rocking before he leaves.
No surprises
A typical job
A toilet has been quietly running into the pan for weeks and the water bill shows it. Paul finds a worn fill valve letting water through, replaces it and the flush washer while he is in there, checks it fills and shuts off cleanly, and the constant trickle finally stops.
A fair fixed price, agreed with Paul before he starts. No call-out fee bolted on the end, no hidden extras. If a job turns out bigger than it looked, he stops and tells you first.

Straight answers
Usually a worn fill valve or flush washer letting water past. It is a common, quick fix, and stopping it also stops the quiet water waste that runs your bill up.
Yes. That is normally a failed seal or waste connection, or a pan that has worked loose. Paul re-fixes and re-seals it so it stops leaking and stops rocking.
Yes. If yours is cracked, old or not worth repairing, Paul can supply and fit a new toilet, or fit one you have bought, sealed and solid.
